What Is the Troubled Skin Recovery Program?

The Troubled Skin Recovery Program combines injectable skin-supporting ingredients with LDM® ultrasound therapy to help calm skin affected by recurring breakouts, sensitivity, and repeated irritation.

Why Does Troubled Skin Require Barrier Support?

Troubled skin may involve not only visible inflammatory lesions but also redness, increased sensitivity, impaired barrier function, and delayed recovery. Treatment is therefore planned according to the current severity of inflammation and the overall condition of the skin.

How Does the Treatment Work?

Selected soothing and regenerative ingredients are delivered into the skin to support its natural recovery environment. LDM® therapy uses dynamically changing ultrasound frequencies to provide gentle skin conditioning and support the recovery of sensitive or stressed skin.

Which Treatment Formulations Are Available?

DE.HYVE, DONOCELL, or DONOCELL Plus may be selected according to individual skin condition, sensitivity, and treatment goals. The formulation, treatment volume, and application method are determined after a personalized skin assessment.

Can It Be Combined with the POTENZA Pumping Tip?

Depending on the condition of the skin, the POTENZA Pumping Tip may be used to support controlled and even delivery of the selected formulation. This option may not be appropriate when active inflammation or significant skin irritation is present.

Why Is an Individual Assessment Important?

Active acne, folliculitis, rosacea-like redness, allergic reactions, and a compromised skin barrier may appear similar but require different treatment approaches. The cause and severity of the skin concern should be assessed before treatment.

FAQ

01

What benefits can I expect from the Troubled Skin Recovery Program?

The treatment is designed to support a calmer skin environment and may improve the appearance of redness, sensitivity, weakened barrier function, and overall skin condition.

02

Why is LDM® included in the program?

LDM® uses dynamically changing ultrasound frequencies to provide gentle skin conditioning. It may support the recovery and comfort of sensitive or stressed skin when incorporated into a personalized treatment plan.

03

Can I return to normal activities immediately after treatment?

Most patients can resume normal daily activities on the same day. Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, or small injection bumps may occur.

04

Can the treatment be combined with the POTENZA Pumping Tip?

Yes, when appropriate. The POTENZA Pumping Tip may support controlled and even product delivery, but its suitability depends on the degree of inflammation, skin sensitivity, and current barrier condition.

05

Can the treatment be performed on severely troubled skin?

The skin must first be assessed to determine the type and severity of inflammation. Active infection, open lesions, or severe irritation may require alternative treatment or stabilization before an injectable or microneedling-based procedure.

06

What are the pain-relief injection and post-injection bump care options?

The pain-relief injection is intended to reduce procedural discomfort. Post-injection bump care is a supportive program designed to soothe the skin and improve comfort during the early recovery period.

Precautions

Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, or small injection bumps may occur and generally improve within several days to approximately one to two weeks.
Avoid touching, picking, or extracting active lesions, as this may worsen inflammation and increase the risk of infection or post-inflammatory pigmentation.
Avoid exfoliating acids, scrubs, retinoids, and high-concentration active skincare products for approximately 3–5 days after treatment.
Avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, and strenuous exercise for approximately 2–3 days after treatment.
Use gentle skincare, maintain adequate hydration, and apply broad-spectrum sunscreen regularly while the skin recovers.
Contact your medical provider if swelling or pain worsens, or if pus, spreading redness, fever, significant warmth, or other signs of infection develop.
