What Are the Redness & Vascular Laser Packages?

These combination treatment programs are designed to improve vascular-related redness by selectively targeting superficial blood vessels while incorporating skin-soothing and recovery treatments to support the skin barrier and overall skin health.

How Do Vascular Laser Treatments Work?

Laser Genesis® delivers controlled long-pulsed 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser energy to gently heat superficial dermal blood vessels. This may help reduce diffuse redness while supporting improvements in skin tone, texture, and overall skin quality.

Who May Benefit from These Programs?

These programs may be suitable for individuals with diffuse facial redness, visible superficial blood vessels, persistent post-acne erythema, or sensitive skin requiring barrier-supportive care. The treatment protocol is individualized according to skin condition and the underlying cause of redness.

Why Is a Personalized Assessment Important?

Facial redness may result from vascular dilation, rosacea, inflammation, acne-related erythema, barrier dysfunction, or environmental irritation. Identifying the underlying cause is essential for selecting the most appropriate combination of laser treatment and supportive skincare.

FAQ

01

Who is a good candidate for the Redness & Vascular Laser Packages?

These programs may benefit individuals with facial redness, visible superficial blood vessels, post-acne erythema, or sensitive skin. The most appropriate treatment plan is determined after evaluating the underlying cause and severity of the redness.

02

What is the difference between the 5-week and Premium 8-week programs?

The programs differ in treatment duration, supportive therapies, and the overall intensity of care. The Premium program includes additional skin-conditioning sessions and may be recommended for more persistent or complex redness concerns.

03

How many treatments are usually recommended?

Depending on the severity of redness and individual skin condition, patients are generally treated once per week in either a five-week or eight-week program.

04

Will one course completely eliminate facial redness?

Facial redness may be influenced by genetics, rosacea, environmental triggers, lifestyle factors, and skin sensitivity. While treatment may significantly improve redness, maintenance care, daily sun protection, and trigger avoidance are often important for long-term management.

05

Can I return to normal activities after treatment?

Most patients can resume normal daily activities and apply light makeup on the same day. Because the skin may be temporarily more sensitive, irritating skincare products should be avoided for several days.

Precautions

Temporary redness, warmth, mild swelling, or skin tightness may occur after treatment and generally resolves within several hours to approximately two days.
Maintain adequate skin hydration and continue gentle skincare to support barrier recovery during the healing period.
Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and avoid excessive sun exposure to help minimize vascular irritation and protect sensitive skin.
Avoid alcohol, saunas, hot baths, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise for approximately 2–3 days, as these may temporarily increase facial flushing.
Avoid exfoliating acids, retinoids, scrubs, and other irritating skincare products until the skin has fully recovered.
Contact your medical provider if severe pain, blistering, prolonged swelling, worsening redness, or other unusual symptoms develop.
